CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On October 12, 42 street lamps installed on Gujiabao Community Highway in Yuanyang Village, Jiangjin District, Chongqing, shone brightly just after nightfall, illuminating nearly 2,000-meter-long country road as if it were in daylight. After dinner, villagers invited each other to happily walk and move around on the highway, relaxing their minds and bodies from a day of intense labor.

The highway outside their houses was crowded with villagers out and about after dinner. Under the bright lights, villagers were walking, chatting, laughing and enjoying themselves.
